RIVISTA ITALIANA DI GEMMOLOGIA – ITALIAN GEMOLOGICAL REVIEW (IGR) 
IGR – Rivista Italiana di Gemmologia, the Italian Gemological Review, is a communication project masterminded by Gem-Tech and Trasparenze Group aiming to start in Italy a broad information framework for Gemologists as well as professionals involved daily in the gemstone business. Alberto Scarani, Paolo Minieri and Michele Macrì are the editors.
They decided to share their professional experience covering research, trade, education and development of technological equipment involving the magazine to the many hot issues that internationally affect the trade and the investigation of gemstones. The work intends to be independent and open to all contributors worldwide.
