Czochralski, Jan

Czochralski, Jan: born on 23/10/1885 in Kcynia (Prussia, Germanic Empire), died on 22/04/1953 in Kcynia (Poland). Polish chemist, since 1928 professor of Metallurgy and Research on Metals at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw. Inventor of the “Pulling from the Melt” Method, named after him.
