Druse

Druse: an aggregation of crystals growing on more or less flat surfaces of rock fractures (the druse matrix), where the crystals are free to grow outward from their base. Unlike geodes, which are cavities lined with crystals that grow inward from the walls, druse crystals extend outward into open space.
