Fluorite

Fluorite: a mineral chemically defined as CaF₂. It can be transparent or translucent, with a vitreous luster. Colors range from colorless (rare) to a wide variety of shades. It crystallizes in the Cubic System, often appearing in cubic or octahedral forms, but also in granular or massive aggregates. It is found in plutonic rocks, sometimes in sediments, or associated with metallic minerals.
