Limit Angle (or Critical Angle)

Limit Angle (or Critical Angle): with reference to the physical phenomenon of refraction, in geometric optics, a Limit Angle is defined as the angle beyond which a total reflection of light rays takes place. It is, within a gem, the greatest refractive angle to which corresponds the greatest incidence angle of 90°.
