Negative Inclusions

Negative Inclusions: see also Cavity. Negative Crystals are inclusions having a polygonal shape which are nothing but the imprint of an empty crystal formed because of a lack of nutrient by the host crystal, due to chemical-physical variations. In these negative crystals, liquid-gaseous bubbles as well as other new crystalline phases could also develop. The Negative Crystals could also be Cavities whose shape coincides with that of the host crystal. E.g. hexagonal shapes in quartz, etc.
