Phosphorus

Phosphorus: chemical element with atomic number 15, atomic weight 30.98, and symbol P. It is a non-metal belonging to the Nitrogen Group. At room temperature, it is solid, but it becomes liquid at temperatures above 44.15 °C. Phosphorus is not found in nature in its elemental form, but rather as Phosphate.
