Sodium Carbonate

Sodium Carbonate: Sodium carbonate is a carbonic acid sodium salt. At room temperature it appears as a white crystalline powder. When heated, it tends to be decomposed releasing carbon dioxide gas. Chemical formula Na₂CO₃. It is used in the glass manufacturing, in the fabrication of products such as sodium silicates and phosphates, in the paper industry and in the detergents manufacture.
