Sodium Carbonate

Sodium Carbonate: Sodium carbonate is a carbonic acid sodium salt. At room temperature it appears as a white crystalline powder. When heated, it tends to be decomposed releasing carbon dioxide gas. Chemical formula Na2CO3. It is used in the glass manufacturing, in the fabrication of products such as sodium silicates and phosphates, in the paper industry and in the detergents manufacture.
