Synthetic Turquoise: an artificial product obtained by the Chemical Precipitation Synthesis Method or by pressing microcrystals of turquoise which subsequently will be visible under the lens as tiny white dots resembling grains of semolina. Refer to the relative Chapter. Color: blue, slightly greenish blue, generally resembling the color of the best Persian Turquoise. Refractive index n = 1.60. Density = 2.75 g/cm3.
