Chiemi Sasajima is an FGA DGA certified gemologist from Gem-A (The Gemmological Association of Great Britain).

After years of experience for large jewelry companies in Japan and Italy, she first certified in Gemmology at Gem-A and then graduated from DGA and FGA (2020). She then became a Gem-A Tutor at the Gemmological Institute of Liguria ATC Genoa.

Her interests particularly cover pearls and coral, on which she deepened her knowledge on her last trip to Japan. She is currently engaged as an import-export consultant expert in gemology for Italian and Japanese companies.
