Fabrizio Nestola is full professor in Mineralogy at the Department of Geosciences, University of Padova. Here he teaches Mineralogy, Environmental Mineralogy and Earth Interior and Evolution; he also covers the role of President of all Museums of University of Padova.

Prof. Nestola is a mineralogist and crystallographer with main expertise in X-ray diffraction and micro-Raman spectroscopy. He applied crystallographic methods to natural diamonds and their mineral inclusions obtaining an ERC grant on this topic between 2013 and 2018.
