Gioacchino Tempesta is Associate professor at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro," Department of Earth and Geoenvironmental Sciences.

He works on the characterization of minerals, natural rocks and synthetic homologues, from macro- to nano-scale using non-destructive and non-invasive advanced diagnostic techniques.
