Maura Fugazzotto is an Expert in Diagnostics, Science and Technology for Cultural Heritage with a background in georesources and mineral-petrographic applications.

She is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences, University of Catania, where she is involved in cataloging museum properties of mineralogical and petrographic interest through the use of non-invasive and non-destructive characterization techniques.
