Inclusions

Inclusions: internal features within a gemological material. These include solid elements such as crystals of the same or different species, other solid materials, cavities, fissures, fractures, cleavage planes, growth lines, color zoning, twinning, and stress zones, as well as fluid inclusions that may be gaseous and/or liquid. In natural gemstones, complete absence of inclusions is rare, especially in materials like Diamond, Beryl, Corundum, Topaz, and Quartz.
