Inner Core: the solid layer of Earth’s core, with a radius of approximately 1,230 km, composed primarily of Iron with small amounts of Nickel and other light elements. The temperature is estimated to be around 5,400 °C, with a density of about 13 g/cm³ and pressure ranging between 3,300 and 3,600 kbar. Despite the high temperature, the Inner Core remains solid due to the extremely high pressure, which significantly raises Iron’s melting point. Without this extreme pressure, the Inner Core would be in a liquid state.
