Micaschists: metamorphic rocks with a schistose structure (see Schists), primarily composed of Muscovite and Biotite mica (in lamellae larger than 0.2 mm) and Quartz as main components, with accessory minerals that may include Kyanite, Chlorite, Graphite, Garnet, Staurolite, and Sillimanite. Micaschists are typically light in color with a slightly greenish hue.
