Muzo

Muzo: municipality in Colombia, part of the Boyacá department, known for hosting the famous emerald mines that bear its name. These mines are distinguished by their bright, nearly pure green or slightly bluish-green emeralds. Typical inclusions in Muzo emeralds include Calcite, Dolomite, Parisite, and distinctive three-phase inclusions.
