Outer Core: the liquid layer of Earth’s core, composed primarily of Iron (approximately 85%) and Nickel (around 5–10%), with temperatures ranging between 3000 and 4000 °C and a density varying around 9.9–12 g/cm³. Pressure in this layer can reach up to about 1400 kbar. Convection currents within the liquid Outer Core are believed to be the source of Earth’s geomagnetic field, according to the geodynamo model.
