Parisite

Parisite: a rare mineral that is chemically a fluoro-carbonate of Calcium, Cerium, and Lanthanum with the formula Ca(Ce,La)₂(CO₃)₃F₂. It ranges from transparent to translucent, with a luster from vitreous to greasy, and colors from brown and yellow-brown to yellow-grayish and yellow. It crystallizes in the Monoclinic System and occurs in sharp bipyramidal forms. Typically found as an inclusion in Emeralds from Muzo, Colombia.
