All the designs are inspired by the contest theme, “Collision and Fusion”, with a dual meaning. Implying crystal collision in gemstone growth and stylistic cultural fusion, it also reflects the collision of our shared global experience and the fusion of human adaptation during these unprecedented times.
The next phase of the Jewelry Design contest is the fabrication. “House of Jewelry Creation” will provide resources to bring all of the shortlisted works to life. Once fabricated, all finalist designs will receive exposure on a physical tour of various trade events and expositions, including the China International Import Exhibition.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live globally on November 25. Winners will also receive cash prizes and scholarships toward IGI coursework.
