The stunning Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, Italy, will host the inaugural edition of “The Vicenza Symposium” from September 2 to 4, 2025. This biennial event is dedicated to professional development and fostering industry networking. Introduced during the last edition of Vicenzaoro January, the symposium is organized by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group in partnership with Legor Group S.p.A. and Progold S.p.A., in collaboration with Vicenzaoro and T.Gold, and with the support of A.F.E.M.O., FEDERORAFI, FRANCÉCLAT, and MJSA.

The symposium aims to carry forward the legacy of the historic Santa Fe Symposium, founded and supported by Eddie Bell (former technical director of Rio Grande Jewelers Supply), who will serve as Honorary President of The Vicenza Symposium’s Scientific Committee.

The event will be structured into two main areas: precious jewelry and fashion accessories made from non-precious metals. The program will feature seven daily sessions, each lasting approximately 45 minutes, designed for an audience of 100 participants and 21 international speakers attending the symposium.
Approximately 25% of the research presentations will focus on fashion jewelry, highlighting precious metals and innovative, sustainable production techniques.
Damiano Zito, President and CEO of Progold S.p.A., explains: «The Vicenza Symposium not only celebrates technological innovations but also serves as a key platform for dialogue among professionals, academics, and industry leaders. […] I am confident that, over time, The Vicenza Symposium will become an unmissable event for professionals eager to shape the future of jewelry».

The Vicenza Symposium serves as a global platform for the exchange of knowledge among experts and researchers, acting as a driving force for technological advancement and ensuring the continuous development of the industry.
