The month of April 2026 opens the doors to numerous international and industry-specific trade events, ranging from mineralogy to jewelry, and from design to luxury watchmaking. In Europe, Italy, with three events spread between the north and south of the country, and Switzerland, with two major events in Geneva, once again confirm their status as key destinations of the spring fair season.

Among the materials on display will also be cut gemstones and small examples of lapidary work.
Fuorisalone / Milano Design Week – Milan, Italy (April 20–26, 2026)
Fuorisalone is the network of events that accompanies Milano Design Week, turning the entire city into a vast stage dedicated to design. This year’s theme, “Essere Progetto” (Being Project) reflects both the human being as an active agent of change and the idea of design as an evolving, ongoing process.
From April 20 to 26, exhibitions, installations, presentations, and talks will take place in galleries, showrooms, and temporary venues across Milan’s main creative districts. Although not a jewelry fair in the strict sense, Fuorisalone has increasingly become a platform for jewelry designers, independent brands, and contemporary jewelry artists. Many use the event to present experimental collections and interdisciplinary projects that intersect art, fashion, and design.

Watches and Wonders Geneva – Geneva, Switzerland (April 14–20, 2026)
Watches and Wonders Geneva is the leading international event dedicated to haute horlogerie and one of the most anticipated moments of the year for the luxury sector. The show runs from April 14 to 20 at Palexpo in Geneva and brings together some of the most prestigious Swiss and international watchmaking maisons.
At the heart of the event are the presentations of new collections, unveiled to the press and industry professionals during the first days of the show. The second part of the event opens to the public, with exhibitions, craft demonstrations, and meetings with the brands.
Although the fair focuses on watches, it also represents an important reference point for the high-end jewelry world, given the strong link between watchmaking maisons and luxury jewelry. During the week, it is not uncommon for jewel watches, gemstone-set collections, and high jewelry creations to be presented alongside the timepieces.
