Following the calendar of European trade shows, Asia and Oceania are also preparing to host several major events dedicated to the world of gems and jewelry in April 2026. The Asian continent opens the season with four internationally significant events spread across some of the industry’s main hubs: from Istanbul in Turkey to Jaipur in India, passing through Bangkok in Thailand and reaching Kōfu in Japan, at the heart of one of the country’s most important jewelry manufacturing districts. In Oceania, the trade show calendar is represented by the Australian Jewellery Fair, a key event for the regional market that brings together industry professionals and retailers in Sydney.
Asia: A Month of Events from Istanbul to Kōfu
Istanbul Jewelry Show – Istanbul, Turkey (April 1–4, 2026)
One of the leading trade fairs in the global jewelry industry, the Istanbul Jewelry Show is a key reference point for the Eurasian market. Organized by Informa Markets, the event will take place from April 1 to 4 at the Istanbul Expo Center, with more than 1,300 participating brands.
Now in its 58th edition, the fair presents a broad overview of the sector’s offerings: finished jewelry, diamonds, precious and semi-precious gemstones, silverware, as well as machinery and technologies for jewelry manufacturing. Istanbul’s strategic location and the strong presence of Turkey’s goldsmithing industry make the event an important commercial hub for the international jewelry trade.
Yamanashi Jewellery Fair – Kōfu, Japan (April 8–10, 2026)
The Yamanashi Jewellery Fair will take place from April 8 to 10 in Kōfu, the capital of Yamanashi Prefecture, at the I Messe Yamanashi exhibition center. The event has a strong local identity, closely tied to one of Japan’s most important jewelry manufacturing districts.
The region’s tradition originates from the working of rock crystal, mined locally since historical times, and from polishing techniques developed between the Edo and Meiji periods. Today, the district brings together hundreds of specialized companies and workshops, making the city one of the world’s leading centers for gemstone processing.
For this reason, the fair is not only a commercial showcase: for many visitors it also represents an opportunity to connect directly with the local production ecosystem.
On display will be finished jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and manufacturing materials, as well as components and services for the supply chain. The fair also offers the chance to gain a closer look at the Yamanashi production system, renowned for gemstone processing and high-quality jewelry manufacturing.

GJEPC Jaipur Jewellery Event – Jaipur, India (April 9–11, 2026)
Organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the Jaipur event is dedicated to the international promotion of India’s gem and jewelry industry.
Jaipur is one of the world’s most important centers for the cutting and trade of colored gemstones. The event brings together companies from across the local supply chain—including gem cutters, gemstone traders, and jewelry manufacturers—alongside international participants.
The 2026 edition will take place from April 9 to 11 and is expected to host around 150 exhibitors and approximately 600 invited international buyers.

Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok – Bangkok, Thailand (April 22–25, 2026)
Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok is one of the emerging events dedicated to jewelry and gemstones in Southeast Asia. The show aims to serve as a commercial platform for ASEAN markets, connecting regional manufacturers, gemstone traders, and international buyers.
The fair takes place in Bangkok at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), one of the city’s main exhibition venues. The 2026 edition is scheduled for April 22–25 in Halls 5–7 (LG level) of the convention center.

Curated spaces will showcase new collections, emerging materials, and market trends in the Asian jewelry sector.
