The Sixth National Conference on Diamonds and Colored Stones is scheduled for July 8 and 9, 2024, in Turin, Italy. Organized by the University of Turin, it will be held in the Aula Magna of the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology at via Accademia Albertina, 13.
“Diamonds and Colored Stones: Gemstones identification in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” will focus on the recognition of gems using artificial intelligence and the analytical challenges related to the smuggling of diamonds from regions where violence abuses and violations of law occur. Additionally, there will be a flash presentation session aimed at young researchers. The initiative’s goal is to bring together gemological industry professionals with the academic research community.
