Starting from issue #3, IGR – Italian Gemological Review begins publishing a wide collection of gems and minerals present in Italy curated by a qualified group of experts: Elisabetta Amore, Roberto Appiani, Valentina Bordoni, Marco Campos Venuti, Gianluca Cattaneo, Franca Caucia, Giorgio Conti-Vecchi, Emanuele Costa, Christian Ghisoli, Alberto Guizzardi, Davide Leoni, Michele Macrì, Adriana Maras, Luigi Marinoni, Mauro Mauri, Luciano Merlo Pich, Annibale Mottana, Paolo Stara, Sabrina Tegani, Fabrizio Troilo.

It is a work offering a methodical dissertation of the materials we believe could be highly useful to all enthusiasts of the world of minerals and precious stones. Due to the vastness of the reference documents, our magazine is planning to complete the publication in several issues as an alphabetically ordered sequence.
